We love wool! Wool has several unique properties perfectly suited for Nordic climates.

Tencel® is one of our most environmentally friendly textile materials. It comes directly from nature and is obtained from FSC*-certified cellulose derived from sustainable forestry. Tencel® has many of the same positive properties as wool and clothing made of Tencel® is soft, durable, keeps its shape and wicks moisture away from the skin.

Norwegians love wool. In rough, cold weather, Norwegian swear by the “3-layer-princible” – with thin wool as the inner layer, followed by a thicker, warm middle layer, topped off with an outer layer that protects against wind and rain. These days however, with soft, thin merino wool readily available, using wool as an inner layer has become as common in the city as in the mountains.
